Suppose you found a bottle, and in the bottle were a genie. Let's say this genie was a sort of poker genie who says he will offer you one of 2 possible "super powers." 1) The ability to see all of your opponents' hole cards. 2) The ability to see in advance all five community cards. Your opponents won't know that you have this super power, and won't have any way of knowing unless you tell them or somehow give it away. Which one would you choose, and why? --- Morphy xaqmorphy@donkeymanifesto.com http://www.donkeymanifesto.com "I think they are mad that i am borderline psycho" --igotskillz "It's unfortunate that there are loons on both sides completely obfuscating what's going on." --Official RGP Mantra _____________________________________________________________________ : the next generation of web-newsreaders : http://www.recgroups.com

You don't have to win them all. How much more do you think they'll pay with those 2 black kings? You keep winning those lil' pots. What if your opponent has AA, you have 22, and your opponent ships his 800bb stack preflop? You're folding the ducks, while I'm counting chips because I knew I'd be making quads on the turn! I wouldn't turn your power down... but given the choice it's the weaker of the 2. With GP2, outside of the blinds, you don't have to put a penny into any pot in which you wouldnt have the nuts on the end... GP1 you're playing small ball as more often than not you have to see the river before knowing if it's your pot. Regardless of which power you get, be sure to lose a few pots in between your raking in the big ones so as not to get caught like those other retards! Throw the fishies a bone every once in a while. Oh, and once again GP2 > GP1 Hell, GP2 > GP1 * 2 !!! Believe it!

Assuming that I were willing to cheat, I would choose the first one. The second one would be more devestating but it would be inexplicable. Eventually, I would be found dead in an alley. In other words, I think it would be inevitable to "somehow give it away." The first would seem, especially if I did _always_ get it right, like good play. People might be shocked to see me playing well but most would not get suspicious. -- Will in New Haven

Has it been 6 months already? ======================================== You must not think me necessarily foolish because I am facetious, nor will I consider you necessarily wise because you are grave. ======== BOOM byae John _____________________________________________________________________ looking for a better newsgroup-reader? - www.recgroups.com
