I am not sure of what coverage the bushfires in southeast Australia have been given in the rest of the world but I will give you some chilling facts Around 200 people dead and 2000 homes destroyed. .Think about that in your nabourhood? If you have won on the tables this weekend please consider giving something to the Australian Red Cross to help. https://www.redcross.org.au/Donations/onlineDonations.asp

This episode was made much worse by policies of the greenies. Here is story about one Aussie who was fined $50,000 a few years ago for clearing a fire break around his house in violation of the environmental policy. When this fire came, his house was the only one in the nearby area to survive. http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/02/11/weve-lost-two-people-in-my-family-bec= ause-you-dickheads-wont-cut-trees-down/ Hooray for algore (The Goracle)! I'm up in North Queensland, where the whole place is flooded. But what is happening down in Victoria is simply heart breaking. The one that got to me was when they found 8 bodies huddled in a pile over the body of a baby. I'll take floods over fires every time.
