I met a guy named lester Starkey at the Bike , his wife never allowed him
to leave the house woith more than 10 dollars . As he ran out of money I
started buying beer , and he gave me 2 horses at Hollywood park (he was an
outrider)
I was too drunk so I called a dealer there , and he got down on both
horses

Lester told me a story about Slime dumping his own father in a game of
snooker for 50 bux when he was younger
I am pretty sure he grew up in Amarillo , but it wouldnt surprise me if he
was from OK

Actually, he's from Arkansas, just a bit of trivia from back when I actually
knew and LIKED the Child Molesting bastard. Of course, I didn't know he was
a child molesting bastard then, or I wouldn't have given him the time of
day.

I ran into some black dude at a liquor store, in I think about '90 or '91.
He stopped there all the time to buy a couple quarts of the malt liquor. We
got to talking a bit and turns out he was a groom or something like that,
working with Bruce Headley I think. Told me he was working with a 2-year old
that hadn't raced yet. Said he showed some promise and that I should keep
an eye out for it. Colt's name was Bertrando. :-)
