An interesting line from the story: "Porsche already holds more than
40 per cent of Volkswagen and has effective control over the company."
This marks the first time that anyone has had effective control of a
Volkswagen in the last 40 years.
(And I say this having owned a '59 and a '72 bug and a '67 van, and
having "driven" a friend's Jetta that, apparently, is a diesel and
doesn't run very well on unleaded.)

Did my part and bought an A4! And the Audi Dealer locally says for
them, it has been great. They have a local 10% market share, and sales
have been going very good.
